In November of 2019, QTS received the official global first MedAccred accreditation in Sterile Packaging. Our team successfully worked through the intensive audit and approval process performed by MedAccred and their subscribers.
QTS piloted the Sterile Device Packaging audit process and was instrumental in helping the MedAccred team develop certification criteria for packaging system assembly/filling and sealing of trays. Obtaining the global first Sterile Packaging accreditation from MedAccred is reflective of QTS’s devotion to quality and our commitment to being best-in-class.

What is MedAccred?
MedAccred is an accreditation program for critical process manufacturing operations in the production of medical devices. MedAccred is an industry managed program with the medical device industry having responsibility for all decisions regarding program operations, development, and the decision to award accreditations. The program is administered on behalf of the medical device industry by the Performance Review Institute (PRI). Participants in the MedAccred program consist of medical device OEMs, contract manufacturers and suppliers who work together to develop industry-wide audit criteria and provide accreditation of critical manufacturing process suppliers to improve product quality.
