**S**opheak Srun, MPH, SM(NRCM), CISS-EO, CISS-RAD was recently appointed as Co-Chair to the [AAMI Microbiological Methods working group](https://www.aami.org/detail-pages/opentext-gateway-standards-committee/st-wg-08---microbiological-methods-working-group). Sopheak, QTS Principal Sterilization Specialist, will be contributing to new and existing ISO standards to be upheld internationally.

A few significant standards that this particular working group is responsible for include the following:
