Cretex Medical Employees Unite for the Community: A Successful Backpack Drive
Cretex Medical recently hosted an Adopt-A-Backpack Backpack Drive for the Anoka-Hennepin School District.

Together, Cretex employees donated a total of 157 backpacks filled with essential school supplies.
At Cretex Medical, community support is not just a value—it's a way of life. Our recent Adopt-A-Backpack Backpack Drive is a testament to the dedication and generosity of our employees, who came together to make a significant impact on local families in need.
This year, Cretex Medical employees donated an impressive 157 backpacks filled with essential school supplies to the Anoka-Hennepin School District's Family Welcome Center. These backpacks, along with additional supplies, will provide crucial support to families new to the district, helping them prepare their children for a successful school year.
The Family Welcome Center plays a vital role in assisting families as they transition into the school district, ensuring that every child starts the academic year with the tools they need to thrive. By contributing to this cause, Cretex Medical employees have helped to alleviate some of the stress that comes with starting school in a new environment.
We received a heartfelt message of gratitude from the Anoka-Hennepin Family Welcome Center, expressing their appreciation for our efforts:
"Thank you to the Cretex team. Anoka-Hennepin's Welcome Center shares in your exuberance for the opportunity to make a difference. The students receiving your donations often don't have the means to make the purchases themselves. Each of you should know that you are providing a child with the resources needed to have a successful start to their school year.
Our Welcome Center supports multilingual learners and their families. We support approximately 1,600 (+) students throughout the school year. We enroll students for school, assess students to determine English learner needs, and support and connect families to their schools and communities. Our district supports families not only from the US but also students coming from over 110 countries around the world. These families represent 195 different languages, including English. Some families are able to navigate the school systems independently and have the financial resources to operate without any additional support. It is the students and families that don't who will benefit from your generosity.
Our team experiences the smiles, tears, and sheer joy and gratitude felt by parents and students as they choose the backpack that best suits each individual. Thanks and blessings to all."
